This Privacy Policy explains what information Zaveloq ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our AI translation service (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information: if you create an account, we collect your name, email address and a securely hashed password. Usage content: text, documents or spoken audio you submit for translation is sent to the translation engine needed to produce your result. Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Technical information: we log basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and abuse prevention.
Text you submit for translation is sent only to the translation engine required to generate that translation (currently Claude AI and/or DeepL, depending on your selection). We do not use your submitted text to train our own models, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. If you are logged in, your translations are saved to your account's "Recent translations" history purely as a convenience so you can find past work — you can delete individual history entries or your entire account at any time from Account settings. If you use the Service without an account, we do not retain your translated text after the result is returned to you.
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate Zaveloq: translation engines (Anthropic Claude, DeepL, and — where enabled — Google Cloud Translation) to generate translations; Stripe to process payments and manage subscriptions; and our hosting provider to run the application. Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their part of the Service, under their own privacy and security commitments.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to remember your preferred interface language and a few non-sensitive UI preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can review and update your account details, delete individual translation history entries, or permanently delete your account (which removes your login and personal data) at any time from Account settings. If you are located in the EU/EEA, UK or another jurisdiction with data protection rights (such as access, correction, deletion or data portability), you can exercise those rights the same way, or by contacting us directly.
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Because our translation engines and infrastructure providers operate internationally, your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here with a new "Last updated" date.
